The Family

Helen & Ray “Monching” Limjoco, in Batangas, Batangas 1949. |

Randolph Clemens Limjoco was born to Monching & Helen Limjoco at Randolph Field AFBase in Texas.
He was the youngest baby, at 5 weeks old, to fly Pan Americans first flight from the U.S. to the Philippines in 1947
It must have been a shock for a young American mom to fly over Manila and see a city fairly leveled to the ground during WW2. Mom had to fly alone because dad (Ramon) had to be with his squad on a Naval Ship
Helen bravely stepped down to meet her father-in-law Dr. Gregorio Limjoco and entered a strange new world. |

Unfortunately, I , Diana, was born a couple of months after Lolo Goyo passed away, thus mom is wearing black. A year or so later, my Godmother Aurora Quezon, & her mother Doña Aurora Quezon were killed by HUK rebel fighters. |
